Symbols of wellness are not quite the same as wellness itself. I think we used to look for symbols of what we want and managed to manifest these believing they would somehow bring about a new way of being on the planet. If we brought in a community living in harmony this would spread a virus of peace and cooperation beyond the bounds of our commune, and yet to INTEND such and INFLUENCE or to FOCUS on the EFFECT is to abandon the experience itself.
Symbols of love as consequences are not quite the same as love itself. When you seek to bring about the conditions of love by manifesting a relationship you give the relationship more life than the experience of love. It’s called reification in some circles, the idea of a living ‘thing’ you place outside of yourself as a separate entity to your embodied experience.
This reification is either an ideal or a picture of what usually happens. It keeps you from being in the actual relationship with a person who changes from millisecond to millisecond, just as everything else in the universe does. It feeds some strange cloud of illusion about what is going on and what is meant to be going on, and it takes responsibility away from the individual having the experience.
I say this because of a conversation I had yesterday about RESPONSIBILITY and being in the experience of All That Is (rather than reifying this experience as a relationship with something or someone outside yourself). It’s interesting it comes up today as I sit and ponder the nature of HEALING and what it is I’m here to do. It’s interesting firstly because I believe that life is not an exchange and we are all energy, and secondly because a recording came to me from an energy worker who uses Sacred Geometry to heal water that subsequently heals the body and I’m tuned to the possibility of truth for all things knowing simultaneously that life is not an exchange and we are all energy.
How do you know all things to be true even when they appear to conflict? When you ascribe to the four truths.
I’m not sure if I’ve written about it before and Louise is rushing me off the computer so we can have an early morning meeting with the beautiful Ann White from CCN (where we broadcast our TV show) so perhaps I’m going to stop there and leave this to percolate…
oracle |ˈɒrək(ə)l|noun1 a priest or priestess acting as a medium through whom advice or prophecy was sought from the gods in classical antiquity.• a place at which divine advice or prophecy was sought.• a person or thing regarded as an infallible authority on something: he reigned supreme as the Colonial Office’s oracle on Africa. 2 archaic a response or message given by an oracle, especially an ambiguous one.ORIGIN late Middle English: via Old French from Latin oraculum, from orare ‘speak’.
As a diviner of answers you are an oracle. There is something about the offering of ‘healing’ or ‘solutions’ that bugs me, that offends my sensibilities and messes with my understanding of how the world works. And yet there is no denying that I am an oracle.
As the Sound Bringer or Sound Source-ress my work is beyond words. There is an instant expansion when I use Big Sound to acknowledge the messenger. And although this is simpler than talking, I am yet to fully explore this aspect of what I do. Right now I am embodying the scribe, counsel and oracle aspect of self.
My dreams are full of fanciful imagery confirming a comfortable uncertainty about where I am headed (smelling like flowers no less) with other peoples bags, people from the past. Lucid, I recognise both that I am representing aspects of self and real life connections when friends and relatives appear in my dreams (except that I don’t remember dead people are dead in this form of reality-consciousness). These adventures are obviously just as open to interpretation as everything else in our lives so where we take them is just as telling as where we think they take us.
If there is more than one aspect of self that you tune to in your job here on the planet (and beyond) then stand in the power of that as full embodiment rather than self-importance. When you understand your abilities as natural, as quintessential to your incarnation then you will be less likely to dismiss skills and gifts as separating you from the pack.
Your uniqueness does not isolate you. Your uniqueness is what makes you a worthwhile participant and it’s what tells you that you belong. When you make claims about who you are and what you do, the world will recognise this is true and act accordingly. Truth is not always a welcome mat. Sometimes recognition is a powerful invitation to open up to our own uniqueness – without blame, shame or manipulation – rocking the boat.
What is familiar can be understood as perfect. What is unique can be understood as shocking. What is happening can be understood by examining the story you are telling about who you are and what it all means. What does this moment tell you about the people you detest and those you admire? Chances are these are your models of uniqueness manifest in various configurations to invite in your own embodiment…
The gurus you seek, the sages you hear, and the experts you trust are all models of uniqueness. Instead of being someone else’s entry point you can have your own effortless experience of love and purpose, or not. I’m all about having the experience that you want to have.
As an explorer, you separate yourself from the outcome and assessment that deems you worthy to truly step into your power and BE the path. That’s what I do, remind people how the language of energy empowers as a lived experience. Illuminating how you see, understand, and know the world is more than just words. Your message, your job on this planet is a choice.
I am the Spiritual Linguist. I feel-see all the questions that empower you in a language you understand and teach you how to read the world as a conscious conversation. I help you remember How To Be Medicine as a Living Master. It’s my job to hold you to your beliefs so that life is happening for you (not to you). It’s my job to show you a world with no polarities, no duality, and no judgement. A world where you live in fascination as a child of the universe, a Pathfinder of Oneness.
It’s my job to be the Oracle of Divine Insight.

I remember learning about food preferences by watching the people around me. They liked some foods more than others when I saw flavour as a rainbow of experiences. I just figured it was something I had to learn like ‘snakes are dangerous’ so I tried to have preferences.
For me, flavour is not the issue. Flavour is just a point on a spectrum with a particular combination of sweet, sour, bitter, salty, and savoury. I also tune to texture and temperature, as well as fat and mineral content which seem inseparable from flavour to me. Anyway, the point is that my innate preferences were never about flavour or desiring this food more than that. My relationship with food is intuitive and emotional.
As an adult I see particular foods and know the love of my father or the confusion of my parent’s divorce. When I eat, I taste the fat, minerals (including metals), and acidity but I experience more than taste. Food is a valuable indicator of what’s going on. Craving cucumber is no different to craving fried chicken if you understand the nature of wanting as different to flavour profile and distinct still from the intuitive digestion experience.
I know how to decode my own desire and preferences at each stage. Craving something is often about preparation whether it’s a menstrual cycle or a new work project. Flavours are a conversation with my body about what I need. And the digestion of food is a great long review of everything playing out in the moment asking me to listen deeply.
Right now my body is asking me to eat particular foods as it has always done. The requests change for each scenario but the fact that I am in constant communication does not. When I detour from the menu there is no punishment or consequences as such, I simply transfer that ‘need’ to another form of energy just as you do.
When your needs are unmet in one area they will flow into another and be recognised in a different form. There is no getting around the fact that energy is irrepressible. You cannot stop it or block it or change it, you can only acknowledge it from here or from there. Either way only your experience of it is altered, only the story you tell about it is different. You have preferences based on flavour or you have preferences based on the deep listening of being present. This is your choice.
Although I learnt to play the game of food preferences to some extent, the language of energy never left my conscious awareness. They are not competing ideologies. The language of energy is a way of thinking and being and knowing and making sense of your experience as a gift with a meaningful job, whereas the concept of preference as like and dislike is part of the language of exchange (which makes sense of the world in terms of separate parts interacting and influencing each other in a battle for balance and enlightenment). The former is a surrender to fascination with whatever is, and the latter is a journey toward manifesting what you prefer.
Personally, I feel loved operating from the language of energy and having played in the world of exchange I can say there is little to entice me to live there full time. In the language of exchange I am in a box. I am gender and mental illness. I am skin colour and annual income bracket. I am intelligence quotient and career achievement. In the language of exchange I don’t feel loved. In fact, I feel broken and desperate and alone and worthless. I do not understand why this world of systems is so attractive when it feels so violent. Perhaps I am over-sensitive and if that is true then I am grateful for being so because it means I get to live in the language of energy.
From the language of energy I am in this moment and I am certain of the fact that I am a gift with an important job (and so is everyone else), so life is actually happening for me. What else do you need?

I’m so excited, I just secured my new business name ‘Heart Alchemy’ and bought a fabulous domain name to complement some of the work I will be doing. More than that, I finished the first chapter of my book for submission into the Transformational Author Experience writing contest (or at least the latest draft which at the rate I keep adding things to will be its own book soon) and keep getting sent new books to write! It seems the universe is intent upon making me a writer, even the cards I pulled yesterday were pretty transparent.
Once I registered my new business name I decided to put my energy into the cards to see what came up. Mostly I do this after I have made a decision rather than as a means to secure which direction I might go. I asked specifically about Heart Alchemy which is not just my new business name, Heart Alchemy is how I understand what we are all doing on the planet (conscious or not) as spiritual beings having a human experience. For me, rather than manifesting, creating, or learning I see everything as energy. That means there is no exchange between separate objects or entities, and there is certainly no upgrades or evolutionary conversion to one philosophy or way of life.
We are a diverse and dynamic experience of life for a reason. That’s one of the things I keep being asked to write about. So many people are trying so hard to get it right so that they can bring peace and harmony to the planet only to make their own experiences miserable! You have a right to know grace and a responsibility to do your part but this often gets confused with what you see going on in the world. If you could continue your work from a place of graceful surrender the only thing that would change is the way you feel. You would still be an advocate for human rights or the Slow Movement but you would not be crushed by every wave of ‘disappointment’ and ‘suffering’ that came into view.
That’s why I do what I do. Because I care so deeply about your experience of life as you do your job. I don’t want to change you or convert you or tell you what the world should look like. I just want to remind you of how fabulous you are because when you remember that, you are irrepressible! That’s all it takes. A bit of quality time spent demonstrating how important you are so that you can tell all the stories you keep hidden. A bit of reassurance that no matter what you’ve done you are still loveable. A bit of celebration to welcome home all the fabulous aspects of self you were born to embody. And a little permission slip from your soul to do what you love. Anyway, let’s not get too distracted from the excitement at hand 🙂
I ask about Heart Alchemy, pull three cards and check the bottom of the deck for a base note (this one tells me about the river of energy running through and beneath the others). The first is Serapis Bay Go Now! which has come up in the last three readings to tell me the universe is ready. The second is Jesus Open Your Heart to Love which you can read however you like as long as you remember it has the word ‘heart’ in it. The third is St Francis Follow Your Heart with yet another heart. And the Base note is Thoth Write.
Now, there are lots of stories I could tell you about how significant each of these messengers have been throughout my life. Serapis Bey is an Egyptian god, a bridge between Heaven and Earth who functions as a life coach. Not just a motivational speaker leading you to boost your income or call in the love of your life, Serapis shows you how to see all the things you do and all the places you live as a way to care for yourself. He helps you find the extra energy you need to create a holistic life plane (rather than a plan) where all worlds become one.
Jesus, I have studied as a person, a pawn, a prophet, and an energetic that has been created out of all the focused attention humans have pooled over the years. In a reading, for me, he can represent many things. In this reading I feel it is about my connection to him in the caves I see when I am taken back. Caves with hollowed out shelves in the walls with red candle wax. I also feel it is about the calm and surrender his message (or interpretations thereof) seem to bring people. Unlike other wisdoms his words seem to bring energy up from inside a person rather than coat them in serenity. This is a powerful way to love, to speak love into another’s heart and soul from their own knowing.
St Francis has been with me for a long time. He is not so far from Jesus when it comes to style. I fell St Francis brings inner peace rather than love. In the same way Jesus speaks and you know love fem your essence, St Francis lives and you know peace in your heart. He asks you to trust because your heart is the key to knowing all you need to know.
And beneath it all is Thoth the Egyptian god of writing. An aspect of Hermes instructor of the Hermetic principles of alchemy and Divine magic. The originator of written languages and scribe to the gods. If that’s not a celebration of channelling I don’t know what is!
Alchemy is not transformation. Transformation is moulding something into a new shape, like when you tell your story from a different perspective. Alchemy is more than translation, it’s a way to understand the incomparable in one picture without making either wrong or superior. It’s a way to know each has it’s purpose and not to question the value of it’s place in the world. For me, alchemy is about co-existing truths that empower everyone.
Looking at the messengers in this reading I am reminded of quality time, touch, words of affirmation, acts of service, and gifts. You may know these as the languages of love. I see them in the messengers we connect to who allow us to remember ‘I am a gift, I have a place, and no matter what, I am always doing the best I can with what I have’.
